Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions. I'm currently running the TrendMicro housecleaning thing. I did a defrag before that. The sound that was made every time I clicked PeopleMarks seems to be gone. The script host window hasn't reared its ugly head yet. I can get 6 charts at a time one stockcharts.com . Things are looking up for the moment, but we'll see...
