I'm a moderate progressive and some of my best friends are Republicans. I am not "brainwashed" by anybody. In fact, I picked out Kerry as the best president several years ago. I have been carefully watching Bush-Cheney and my worst fears about them have been realized. I believe they are not normal conservatives, they are in league with grandoise power grabs and money grabs which rob the treasury, tax-payer and consumer while pretending to be giving people money. They were warned about 9-11, did nothing then did well after 9-11. Until OIraq. Iraq would have been fine if they'd had the concrete evidence and war-peace plan BEFORE going in. But they had nothing. They just rushed in. Then lied about it. Any one of these things, including their 1.5 trillion deficit spending is grounds for dismissal.
