Obviously Bush has not united any of us. We're at each others' throats. But Bushies made a key mistake, they attacked the moderates too. They stabbed McCain types in the back and let their surrogates call McCain a "traitor", Amm DEmocrats "traitors", smeared war hero Max Cleland, etc. So they have alienated the middle along with a lot of other groups. Women, kids, elderly, labor, vets, even white collar middle management, you name it.
