"None of the "events" in the Gospels are evidenced in history--NOT ONE. Give me one line in one verse in one chapter and link it to ONE historical reference, and we can discuss "Jesus"." Children believe in Santa Claus and Hobbits and are better for it. I don't care if HE existed or not it is a great story of how someone can make a difference. Of course it was tarted up later with notions that completely contradicted the original message like original sin but on the whole the message was a good one. Frodo Baggins: I can't do this Sam.
