and numerous other countries in the last half-century.

It reminds me of the attempted coup in Venezuela.

It seems we'll be hearing a lot more about Haiti in the days to come.

The US under Bush has an odd sense of supporting Democracy. First Venuzuela, then beating up Taiwan for thinking about voting for independence, and now Haiti.
