As for inflation, China officialdom has a lot of levers that can be pulled and buttons that can be pushed, and if they do not work, then simply implement rolling blackouts across the nation for a few months.

As for buildup of USD, they are and will continue to do the natural thing, spending it.

Actually I take that back
It means they raise the interest rates.
It probably has nothing to do with re-peg.
