I have a hunch the correction is ending. My fav stock that I've made the most in since the bottom, CACS, put in a hammer doji on the weekly and has 3 white soldiers to finish the hammer last week. Today it is up 2% already...
suite101.com

Intel gets a downgrade and it is up as I type, only 0.24%, but it IS green.

Downgrades stop sending stocks down so they take their foot off the break, release the hand brake and hit the gas pedal and perhaps ignite the turbos... now that they've got all the suckers they can to sell....

Skeptic that I am....

My screen is almost all green which has been a rare color the past weeks.

Have we ever seen so low a PEG on the stocks Don tabulates each week?

Of course, we could just be having a counter trend rally starting after a big decline to relieve the oversold condition but I've added to my positions (and will take profits again if we go up again.)

How do you think that analysts feels tonite? My dog could make better market calls. Laptop sales are slower than expected he said without taking into account that another of intels arrows was/would be hitting its mark big time. Do these guys go to college? mike

No Brian,, all the good news is out and the "SUX" has it all priced in. I wouldn't rule out a 50% decline again in the SOX over the next few Qtrs. Pricing power is dead and a majority of the good news is out.

...that's the fun part about Semi's :-)
