this is the kind of thing I expect from political leaders to improve the US economy and jumpstart job creation. Republicans who are entrenched with multinational CEOs are against creative destruction like this. Bills like this just die with republican leadership and then the economy flounders.

Atheros Supports ``Jumpstart Broadband Act''; Senate Bill Advocates Increasing Capacity of Advanced WLANs by Allocating Additional 255 MHz of Spectrum in the 5-GHz Band.

The sooner these republicans stuck in the 19th century are defeated the sooner everybody can get back to work.

Really? What do you consider small business?
Why do you think only big business has benefited.

Kerry would be influenced by the politics of jobs, healthcare and less by the politics of Corporations. In that scenario, Kerry being a wealthy person would realize the potential for small business role in the economy. That is why I prefer Kerry over Bush. Historically, the oil business is a business of the corporations. It has nothing with small businesses. In fact they devour small businesses. Hence Kerry and small business is my man. Not Bush and the big corporations.
