Teresa Heinz Still Shunning Kerry Name

Though reporters have been referring to Sen. John Kerry's wife as Teresa Heinz Kerry for months, the prospective first lady admitted Sunday that the "Heinz Kerry" moniker is just a campaign ruse.

"My official name is still Teresa Heinz," she told the Los Angeles Times.

What about her reported decision last year to add the Kerry suffix, and the fact that she's identified in her official campaign biography as Teresa Heinz Kerry?

That's just "political stuff," Mrs. Heinz huffed, while in the midst of signing campaign posters using the "Heinz Kerry" name.

"If I only put 'Teresa Heinz' it would be 'Why?' And 'Ya ya ya,'" she complained. "My official name [Teresa Heinz] is my official name, and I wouldn't change one iota."

To bolster her case, Mrs. Heinz invoked other female relatives of her husband who declined to take the Kerry name, explaining, "His married sister has her maiden name. His sister-in-law married to his brother has her maiden name.

"It really isn't a big deal," she insisted

The biggest truth about Kerry is
that he is a political coward
and as two-faced as they come.

In 1997, Clinton was in office and
it looked like there might be some
action against Iraq. He was therefore
"for it". He was also "for it"
at a time when such action was not
"imminent", thus providing lots
of opportunity to change his mind,
waffle, or belatedly attach a string of
conditions to any "yes" vote
he might cast.

Bottom line is that Kerry will
say anything that is expedient---
which means he never takes a
principled stand on anything, just
says what will give him the most
political juice at any given time.

That kind of politicking worked
better before the internet where
a complicit media refused to
probe their darling candidates
of choice.

It's a brave new world this
political season and those,
like Kerry, who are wont to
fabricate, should find it
harder to spin.

JMO.

"Please use this thread to post the truth about the default democratic candidate"

Interesting observation. Observe this.

Bush was not elected president, he was selected by judicial fiat. He should, by rights, be called the president-select. Which is why he's running for election and not re-election.
