We have seen a significant increase in oil prices in the past 4 weeks. Would that not serve as a damper to a economy trying to pull out of the woods? What we see here in the figures in the health of the economy in January which has traditionally been good every year with the Christmas hiring and optimism going into the New Year. The second quarter is going to be the key and now more so because of the oil price increases in the past 4 weeks.
