Isnt it strange has the gap nearly always gets filled.
Even when you think "no way".
Also the deal isnt much nearterm, but its another block to the foundation, and that foundation keeps getting stronger.
If you look to the xoma website under collaborations, you will see there was a lot of room left to fill in. Hmm.
Also, this is NOT xomas only oncology thing going. I am sure chiron is also aware of ing-1 too.
