It's not that twenty bucks is an unholy amount of money, it's that the only people who might be tempted to pay it are the ones who have already done the research. For the other 99.9% of the population, these folks with small cult followings on the Internet are nobodys, and spending twenty bucks to see a nobody is out of the question. In other words, they get to play big fish in small pond, without making even a tiny impression on the vast majority of the population who still believe Saddam, Osama and the Taliban done it, and GWB is some kind of hero. If profiteering on fake terror is wrong, I have trouble viewing turning the truth into a cottage industry for conspiracy profiteers is right.

I suppose it would depend on if they have a realistic program to reach a larger cross section of America, or if they're just trying to double their money on T-shirt sales, while picking up a few likely looking groupies.
