You mean like Bush campaigned as a decent compassionate conservative then as soon as he grabbed power turned into an arch hard-liner arrogant dictatorial bully trying to make deals for big contributors like Enron? I don't think so. Kerry is a lot more honest than that. In fact, the opposite. What you see is what you'll get.

Nothing Kerry could do would make him look like a Centrist.

Voters will look at his voting record, biography & "extreme liberal" will be obvious to them. They will then re-examine GW Bush...decide it's more important to have homeland security than jobs &....re-elect him.
Dems could win with a moderate like Edwards if only they were sharp enough to realize it.
