Can you take at face value public opinions uttered in totalitarian nations - like Nazi Germany, the various Communist countries, or countries like Saddam's Iraq. No.

This Prinz fellow immigrated to the US and was involved in the civil rights movement here. I suspect that is a better indication of his mindset.
