Your charges of racism on my part are a poor substitute for substance or logic in your posts.

But you still are not refuting, or denying, the "charges" I'm opining upon, based upon your claim that any attempt to bring democracy or moderate/modern change to that region is "in vain"..

Why is it that you continue to expound upon why you perceive Arab people are incapable of assimilating and benefitting from such attempts by CPA forces to instill similar political and economic views that Westerners seem to be so successful following??

Do you think Muslims are sub-human, or mentally and morally deficient?

Reports from Iraq suggest that the social freedom of women in Iraq is substantially more precarious now than it was before the invasion.

And this could certainly be the case were the US and other CPA forces not present to demand that women's rights be respected and advanced.. I've long been an advocate of instilling a sense of women's rights in the muslim world. In fact, I think it's crucial since it empowers muslim women to hold their men accountable to their family obligations.

But none of this would occur if Western influences were permitted to be dominated and excluded by those militant forces you seem to be so concerned about..

Bottom line, the best cure for Islamic militancy is a strong and firm presence in the region, strengthening the spines of moderate and modern leadership, and suppressing the extremist views that many Islamic fundamentalists might wish to impose upon Iraqis..

You seem afraid of Islamic militancy GST... But pulling US and CPA forces out of Iraq all but guarantee that fundamentalism will dominate the country... by force.

So if force must be used, I'd say it's far better that it be used to advance human right and economic opportunity...
