You're also mistaken.<g>

Many potential Gore voter's votes were discarded and not counted. Many military absentee ballots were counted even though they were filled out after the submission deadline. Lots of funny stuff happened on both sides. That's major party politics in America.

The fact that Gore lost doesn't cost me any sleep. The problem is this...the privileged son was declared the winner. Democracy suffered for it then and its suffered even more since.

The USSC finally decided ....
Scalia decided for the most corrupt of reasons. Junior promised wealth and power to Scalia's kid. All Antonin had to do was trade his principles for a 5-4 "election".
