Perhaps, but the day's outcome was one of the biggest moves yet on the commodity, input goods side, NOT a desired outcome IMO.

been saying for months now
the new "spread" to watch is ...

PPI minus CPI
PPI rising fast
CPI flat as a brick

later this year, I expect both to rise
but PPI to rise faster than the CPI

it is the indicator of profit squeeze
