Regime change here will not make the situation more dangerous because Bush has alienated the entire world.

That's the standard Democratic line. We are more powerful than the rest of the world combined. And we are at war with Muslim extremism. That makes the foreign elites unhappy. You can't get around the fact that our main opposition has been the French, who didn't want us in the ME. They consider the place to be theirs.

We have spent a lot of time trying to make the foreign elites like us. I want them to respect us. Take all the popularity surveys you want, the fact is that most people do everything they can to move here.
