.....the Bushies don't give a damn what anyone thinks and as a result have alienated the world. There is not a single country in the world that will not go its own way when it's perceived to be in the national interest. Did France give a damn when it demanded special concessions from the EU over its budget, and "alienated" other countries like Portugal forced to follow the rules? Don't think so. There are many countries in the world with which the US gets along fine - India, Australia, Spain, Eastern European countries in general, Japan, etc.
