It's fair imo to have a moderated thread and say upfront that the rule is, Moderator Whim. I have no problem with that. It's like a party in your living room -- you kick out whoever you want to.

But creating explicit rules and applying them according to the participants' politics or your personal prejudices is a different thing, imo.
