Gillespie was paid 700 K by Enron to run one of the most dishonest and expensive PR, ad and marketing campaigns in modern history, that is to lie to the people by claiming Enron was innocent and that it was all the democrats fault that billions upon billions were being gouged and scammed by the energy companies. That's like the mugger blaming the muggee. There oughta be a law. Instead, Bush promoted Gillespie to the top spot in the party. So expect a huge BS campaign from Gillespie coming down the pike fueled by 150 milion in corporate special interest money. The goal, to continue gouging consumers and privatizing public money and lands for the big fat cats behind Bush-Cheney-Delay, the Texas thieves.
