9:43AM Natural-gas stocks up after upgrade ($XNG) by Lisa Sanders DALLAS (CBS.MW) -- Shares of natural-gas stocks rose 1 percent to 226.90 as seen in the Amex Natural Gas Index ($XNG). Banc of America analyst Robert Morris upgraded the exploration and production group to overweight and raised the firm's ratings on a slew of stocks to "buy" from "neutral." "We believe that significant increases to Street consensus crude oil and natural gas prices still lie ahead and the one factor that has continued to hold true is that the E&P sector, on average, outperforms the broader market when consensus estimates are rising," Morris wrote in a research report.
