Jacob, Jacob, Jacob... agree completely. Geography is just another proximate cause, another in the Infinite Series of Veils of Illusion. Strip them all away, and the First Cause is our chimp DNA. Or perhaps our reptilian DNA. You just refuse to accept responsibility. How can you possibly blame your sins on my innocent chimp and lizard brethren??? Have you no shame? Haven't they suffered enough under your wasteful, selfish and, yes, brutal humanity??!
