I don't know if I'm really an old man or not. I DO know there are times it certainly feels that way! I miss that 18-year-old body. Back when I was immortal. I could tell you stories... like the time the word F--- drove me through the roof. Students in my time were suspended for the word. But now it doesn't phase me. I have become desensitized..( by my own wanting to be). Know something? I find it hard to believe society is better because you and many others like you were overrun by new generations. It's just that we can say things the same way without calling one another names. I'm quite aware of that. I think we're doing it. But have you ever tried this with laura bush when you disagree with her opinion? Civility has a very short lifetime. After a while you just come into the conversation with guns cocked and loaded. . I find too that some of the more vicious posters in name calling to others will not put anything in their profile to identify from whence they come...It would be nice to know with whom you are dealing. I'm a software engineer in Silicon Valley. Being in CA, the fact that I will drag my knuckles walking into the polling booth matters not a wit; the Democrats could quite literally run a jackass (the animal, not the cuss word or pejorative) and carry this state. My friends cannot stand my passion for turning over the present administration to hopefully something better. Message 19583000 How's that? I fail to see even one questionable expletive in it. Which is a lot more than can be said for the majority of laura's. As far as reporting her, vulgarity at least used to be a TOU violation. If she's not at least suspended, Jill will throw a fit.
