Snarling rolls right off my back. No problema. I think a tax amnesty for "this category" is pushing it. Whatever "this category" may or may not be. And however trackable it may or may not be. We can make a case for a state interest in using tax money for unemployment insurance and training across the board. Singling out individuals for tax amnesty is another matter. Lots of people lose jobs for lots of reasons. Lots of people have to take pay cuts for lots of reasons. I don't know that this one is more noble or more unfair than any of the others.
