Steve, The whole program is bogus. All kinds of supplemental cats and dogs benefits have been added. Its biggest value to you is the ability to use it to scare oldsters and eliminate any possibility of rational debate. SS is one of the prime examples of liberals inhibiting rational debate on a major national issue. There are equal idiocies on the right. However, let there be no doubt that the political extremes of both sides are detremental to the overall good of the country.
