JF, Because it's politics. I listened to Rush everyday saying that Kerry was guilty with the "intern", "this thing isn't over". And the "evidence" is a lot worse against Bush than against Kerry.

Rush is just baiting his listeners with the Kerry "intern" thing. If it turns out to be something real, he'll jump up and down with another "See, I Told You So!" If not, he'll let it pass. In other words, it's just Rush being himself, an egoistic entertainer.

I don't see this as being the same as the Bush AWOL accusation. Instead, I see Democrats trying as hard as they can to nail Jello to the wall. To me, they're desperately trying to push a non-issue, as if sticking to Kerry's own Vietnam service isn't enough. Politically, they'd be better off not trying so hard, IMO.

Still think Bush got out of NG service with connections. What do you think?

He might have, but what difference does it make? His National Guard service was meaningless anyway, assuming he did it to get out of Vietnam.
