Ten,

re: The Kerry "affair" dropped off the radar screen rather quickly, despite the potential damage it could do. The Bush AWOL thing isn't going away, despite the sheer irrelevance of it.

Maybe despite the relative truth.

You have a tendency to always think your side is unjustly persecuted, it comes out in a lot of your posts.

Both sides are going to be taking cheap shots. Get used to it, and take it for what it's worth on both sides. Bush looks bad vs. Kerry wrt Vietnam, you can't change that. Kerry will look bad vs. Bush on some votes; Bush doesn't have the congressional voting record to review. Dem's have to get used to it.

It the end, those "issues" won't decide the election.

John

The lady made a statement...her parents are voting for Kerry. Stop pouting.

JF, Ten, your partisan is showing. It's the same sh-t. Except there is probably some truth to the Bush charge. And the Kerry crap is worse, politically.

Of course it's the same old crap. I never disagreed with you there. The difference is the extent each issue is being pursued. The Kerry "affair" dropped off the radar screen rather quickly, despite the potential damage it could do. The Bush AWOL thing isn't going away, despite the sheer irrelevance of it.

The Kerry thing dropped off the radar because the woman publicly denied it. Its not going away for Bush because the WH has not an adequate job of discharging the issue. And the longer they take to do the job, the more people will suspect its really true.

I've said before that where there's smoke there is usually fire. I believe that's true for both Kerry and Bush. However, I agree with John........the liability for Bush is greater than it is for Kerry.
