ot Dr Bob:
Since I am not sure of any of this, I suspect it is more late night AM media hype which my mother listens to on the radio. (news for ratings over information). I wonder about how much more or less serious than Y2K to be taking this. Some of it seems like poor sensationalistic "jourrnalism" at best, some more possible to really come about. I also am not invested in oil, due to innovational substitutes, more environmental blights, terrorist, national threats possibly outweighing scarcity and value. Granddad lectured in the 1960s across the country about nuclear fusion over fission (I am not up on this topic as well) or the other way around(?) as a viable sources of world energy. Wind and solar power seem not as feasible to tackle the major growing industrial cities power and populational demands.
