I still contend that Iraq is a giant money laundering scheme. I was thinking of that even before the Halliburton cost-plus scandal. In this case, it isn't making illegal money look legal, it's taking legal money and making it illegal. I guess it's kind of money laundering in reverse. Note that HAL jacks up its costs as much as possible because they have a noncompete cost-plus contract. The more costs they charge to us, the more profit they make. It's insane. If it isn't illegal it darn well should be. Cheney is a crook.
