I heard it in Costa Rica where I sojourn 3 months during the high season each year. Lots (>80,000) of US and Canadian Gringos and Mestizos there besides the native Costa Ricans. Maybe that blessed word somehow got "bastardized" there? Maybe the speaker didn't pronounce it the way you are accustomed to hearing it. My last visit to Reno was in 1984. Naively went to the stable at Mustang Ranch thinking I would be able to take some pics of Apaloosas and other thoroughbreds there. Greatly disappointed! Instead, I found the "stable" there was a brothel of nubile chicks! At that time I didn't know all the connotations of the word "stable". BTW, one 65 year-old judge drove all the way from Michigan to be "serviced" there. He was found out when his car was ticketed for overparking! Lots of religious folks believe Reno is a den of iniquity and is slated for destruction ..................... BTW, I don't care much for Reno and Florida. Far too many smug US and Canadian assholes there! Voices in the head? Aren't you talking about yourself again, eh? Got your inner wires crossed, eh?
