The Feds would have better people if they had a recruiting cycle less than six months long. Anybody worth having has another job by the time the guvmint calls.

Therein lies the rub "as they say"..but never paid much attention to recruitment and retention issues.

Excellent point, Karen....And many of us had reason to realize this is true when we have had to deal with various entrenched government office types.....

Not always does the government attract the brightest, or best.... One just has to ask..."WHY NOT?" We sure as heck pay like we have attracted them.
