I am very well aware that the soldiers fighting in enemy countries are protecting mine and your freedoms and way of life.

The rightwing will continue attacking war heros. When McCain and Max Cleland defend Kerry's honor, the rightwing will call them "traitors" too. Meanwhile they will pretend Bush showed up for duty in 1972, then change the subject and attack gays.

PS: Saw a poll ast night where two third of voters under 30 support gay marriage. Amazing. So even though Kerry doesn't support gay marriage, Bush's harshness toward the subject will turn off young voters, who are also having a very hard time finding work.
