I think Rove and his ranch hands are gonna have a tougher time keeping its GOPwinger herd fenced in, and getting independent fence-sitters to hop off into the neocon herd. Why? Because soldiers returning home from Iraq will have stories to tell. Unlike during Vietnam when soldiers returned to their respective military bases, reservist and national guard soldiers returning today are returning into their home communities. Word will spread that the Iraq War is all wrong, and that Americans have been and today are dying and being wounded needlessly. Yes, Bush has yet seen his worst press! That'll come--I predict sometime around Memorial Day--when America's newly-minted Gold Star Mothers will knock ferociously on the doors of the Bush White House. Around this time, Bush will probably attend a funeral or a memorial service for those who've died in Iraq--but it won't be enough as he's to date already chosen to attend fundraisers but no funerals.
