The under 30 crowd is clueless. They don't vote.

Once they hit 30 and start their earning and success years, they see how much money the Dems steal from them. That's why there are so many republicans in office.

Unemployment for students is particularly high, plus their tuitions have gone way up under Bush. They also hear about the Bush defiits being dumped on them and Social Security being cut in the future. Put that all together and I'd say the young voters might finally return en masse to support the democratic cause.
