The latest polls show Bush with less than 45% support nationwide. It will be a close election due to the GOP's ability to spend 200 million on TV ads and the GOP base of about 38% but Bush will lose in the end due to the honest power of John Kerry (and probably Edwards). Bush is in big trouble in rural areas and states he won in 2000, including Florida which he didn't really win but cheated to steal. Bush is also having some problems with his rightwing base due to his pandering to Hispanics on immigration, terrible jobs record, huge government over-spending and lies about the war.
