Response to Bush "telling the truth"

1. What about the axis of evil? You think Iraq, Iran and North Korea are anything but evil? (*That speech was one of the stupidest most ideological things that ever came out of the mouth of a US president, creating a big problem with North Korea and escalating both NK's and Iran's nuclear ambitions. Are they "evil"? Yes, all dictators are at least partly evil. But those three countries don't have a monopoly on evil at all. And those countries are no "axis". They are not allies. That was dishonest. Saudi Arabia had far more to do with 9-11 and they were not mentioned)

2. Dubya said he would cut taxes - done that!
(Yes Bush cut taxes, especially on the richest Americans thereby driving us into the deepest deficits/debt we've ever seen and creating zero jobs in the process. His tax cuts for the rich have to be cancelled. Someone has to pay for Bush's record over-spending. Even the conservative Concord Coalition agrees that Bush's tax cuts are "reckless")

3. Dubya said there would be a prescription drug program - done that! (* The prescription drug bill isn;'t in effect yet and needs to be changed completely. Turns out it's a scam giving away tens of billions to corporate special interests. The elderly are now against it. It will be changed.)

4. Dubya said he would have an education bill - with Teddy Kennedy even - done that! (* Bush's education mandates are underfunded. He stabbed Kennedy in the back by using his name then once he got his support, refusing to fully fund "No Child Left Behind". Also the entire program needs to be revised and reformed. Only parts of it are helpful)
