The reality is that we have people like Powell & Cheney contradicting the eye-witnesses. Hello!, can you say WMD? The complete lack of credibility is on the side of the Bush administraion. Aristide reaps no benifit from making up stories from Central Africa, it just embarasses the hosts.

Maybe because he can't spend it anyway? Maybe because he has other sources of funds? Maybe because he thinks he'll return? How should I know?
