ild, He misses the trade embargo Clinton put on Aristide's Haiti, which eventually caused his govt. to collapse. But no fear. The new self-proclaimed leader was convicted of a major massacre. And Baby Doc wants to come back. What a wealth of choice those folks have. <G>

That's a horrible article, because it leaves out crucial facts.

The socialist voodoo priest Jean-Bertrand Aristide was beloved by the Clinton administration

The U.S. strongly sponsored various terrorist groups in Haiti, and in a short time those groups ousted Aristide (1991). After 3 years of boat people, the U.S. decided to let Aristide return only on the condition that he renounce his election platform.
