Ted Re...Why is it blank? Had he been in attendance, it should have been completed.

Because when Gw transferred to the Al. natl guard, that guard was a non reporting unit. Later the air force withdrew, their acceptance of his transfer. However, there is no proof, Gw got the notice to report, to a different unit.. My guess, is the guard couldn't prove he had to report, so dropped it, and cashiered him out, after he put in a mminimun period of time.

If he was absent for an extended period of time, and it sure looks like he was, why wasn't he declared AWOL? Did daddy take care of that issue as well?

Again, when Gw transferred to the Alabama unit, it was not a mandatory reporting unit, whatever that means. Later the air force revoked their permission for GW to transfer there. However there is no proof, the guard ever sent out orders to report somewhere else. My guess it was a bookeeping error; or the orders were sent to the wrong address, as GW had moved. So I think both sides agreed, to a minimum number of non flight hrs, so he meet his requirements, and gave him an honorable dismissal.
