He didn't soil YOUR memory, JDN. Only the memories of those that wrongly believed that the war was just and that there were no atrocities there. Most of us didn't commit atrocities, although many of us did kill young Vietnamese men no more responsible for the war than we were. Some of us, however, did kill innocent people that had no choice, were not combatants and did nothing wrong. The truth doesn't soil your memory or mine. Truth is truth and burying it while the atrocities and the wrongful war kept adding to the toll of innocent lives on both side was WAY WRONG. Kerry spoke up and so did other men of conscience. I'm proud of them.
