March 3, 2004 -- mark your calender, we finally agree on something.

Finally agree on something?? Well, I guess Facts are stubborn things, now aren't they... Even you have to eventually agree with me..

But all you've been doing is griping about the US being in there, while I'm trying to pull out of you any kind of alternative plan for resolving the situation in Iraq, that is better than the one currently being implemented...

I can't change the past, even if I wanted to.. I want to think about the long-term goal (stable and/or democratic society in Iraq and middle east) and find the best means available to achieve it.. And that's going to involve mistakes being made, and hurdles and obstacles arising from time to time..

But I certainly am not a quitter, nor do I believe it's a "vain" enterprise to endeavor for such a positive change in the region..

And I'm fully prepared that we might fail, or fall short, of that goal, given the difficulties involved in dealing with all the internal and external hatreds...

But it sure as hell beats not trying, which would guarantee that we fail..

So GST... where are your great plans and schemes for changing what Bush has apparently done wrong?? No more griping about the past... Give us your vision for the future..

Do more than complain... Try and own the problem... Just like Kerry will should he manage to get elected..
