The independents are wary of John Kerry. He has not excited them to date.

On a side note, I watched John Edwards give a smooth speech. What I found interesting was how he talked about how we were going to take the country back. He was now simply a democrat speaking against the republican.
First it was Dean, then Clark, then Edwards, and Kerry. The deomocrats jumped around and selected finally on one candidate, and the others that did not believe in Kerry will now be good party members and vote for "their" party...it always was about the democrats choosing a democrat this year, and then the deomcrats are going to vote for a democrat, it is the same every time, the voters get excited, but all the party has done is given the members a choice, but made sure that the memebers do not stray from their control.

OBL would vote for the guy who hasn't caught him after three years despite promising us he would as a #1 priority.
Who let him get away at Tora Bora despite having him surrounded.

OBL would also vote for the guy who created a terrorists dream in Iraq due to zero international coperation. He would also vote for his family's good friend, GW Bush. The Bushes and Bin Laudens go way back. Ask the Carlyle Group.
