AMAT and KLAC will bounce every time until they don't bounce. You asked why the market is not doing better? It's pretty simple. Because we all think it should be doing better. The total put to call ratio has not closed over 1.0 in over two months. The VIX/VXO/VXN and all other measures of fear are within whispering distance of lows since this bull run began. Some of them are near all time lows. The BPNDX data has fallen lower than at any point since early last year. Fundamentals don't matter if institutions are not buying. They are not buying this sector now. That could change but one day these stocks will not trade up from the bottom of their range. They will breakdown instead. And the higher volume on down days for the last six weeks seems to be saying be careful to me. RtS
