Greenspan didn't say that our current debt level is the worst or least sustainable in US history.

If you think he did then post a link and/or provide an exact quote. But you can't because he didn't say that.

Now if you want to back off of the "absolute worst" claim, and just make a statement about how American debt is too high and may cause problems I'm not going to fight you on that one, but that isn't what you said, you said it was " It is the absolute worst, in terms of sustainability of the deficit"

I guess it is possible that you meant not worst in US history but worst of any country today but that isn't true either. If you meant something more limited like worst in post WWII American history then you should have specified that.
