RtS and BWAC, time values: if time value went to zero on all options [or to a penny a share], it would certainly affect my willingness to sell covered calls. I would not sell any.

I would buy puts to cover my stocks, but doubt I would find any sellers.

By taking time value to the extreme of a penny, you can see how time value does affect options volume. Low time value = low volatility expected.
