LETTERS TO IKE:

Here's my reply to Iqbal Latif's original post (which he has graciously copied to this thread.)

Message 19876378

For those who are interested in this ongoing and civil debate here's a link to a previous Latif essay and my "request for clarification of fact" that I penned in response to Iqbal a while ago:

As you'll note, gentle reader, I'm still patiently waiting for Mr. Latif's response to my appeal for a clarification and a truthful restatement of the fact case. :)

Cordially, Ray

The "neocon invasion" was opposed by over 70 percent of the world population and by most nations. Those nations who supported it did so only on the basis of economic relationships with the United States. The Iraq War is a war that no one wanted. Why did only a few want to promulgate it? And why did those few also promulgate so many lies, distortions, omissionsand perversions of truth in order to have this war?

The US Congress, if given the proper information, would not have approved the resolution enabling the neocons to preemptively strike. Blair promised his Parliment that there would be a second resolution in support of the war. Even this didn't materialize.

The Iraq War is plain wrong for a multitude of reasons!
