Ish, in all seriousness, it can't hurt you to quit smoking. In the meantime, try some nicotine gum or put a nicotine patch up against your hard palate. Better yet, get one of those nicotine inhalers. I haven't yet tried the inhaler, so you can be my lab rat. Anyway, the OTC nicotine products got me through my last bout of respiratory troubles, which was, by the way, well over a year ago. - Holly

Quit anyway. It won't hurt you. I can give you some advice from my own experiences with The Filthy Weed if you wish.

I used to smoke. Know something? Since I've quit I get a LOT fewer colds and flus. I mean A LOT.

You're body is trying to fight that virus. It doesn't need the poisons and irritations you give yourself with cigarettes.

How's this: You know how many packs a day you smoke. You know what it costs. Quit. After a year, buy yourself a present with the money you saved. And do it each year thereafter.
