If Bush ever decides to run for political office in France, I'm sure he'll take appropriate steps to increase his popularity there.

Of course, Americans haven't been thought much of in some parts of France, particularly Paris, since after we liberated them in WWI, n'est ce pas? If the American public knew in the '40's what we know now, there would have been mass public sentiment AGAINST sending our troops there to die on the beaches of Normandy.
