Good argument for the single 6 year term. No re-election campaign, our employee actually works. The campaigns should also be reduced so that our employees are focused on their elected job and not job searching for such an excessive time.

So should Bush resign the Presidency to seek re-election. His presence is more vital than a Senator's is. I am sure if it is a close vote, Kerry will fly in. But if something is drawing 90 Yes and 10 No in the Senate what will one extra vote do? Not so in the case of a President. It is his vote that matters when an issues comes to his Oval office desk.
